Tarborough Press subscription and ad rates note
The Tarborough Press announces weekly publication at ten dollars and fifty cents per year paid in advance or three dollars at year end. For periods under a year the rate is twenty per month. Subscriptions may be discontinued with notice and arrears paid. Advertisements up to a square cost one dollar for the first insertion and twenty-five cents for each following. Court orders and judicial notices cost twenty-five percent higher. Letters to the editor must be postpaid.

An ACT for the relief of Mary Tucker 1841 land grant
