Bo, a resident who had been away on business, found his wife dead upon returning home. The steam ship Columbia from Boston with 85 passengers and 73 crew wrecked on Hisck Ledge reef near Seal Island on Sunday afternoon the 2nd in fog. All passengers and crew were saved. The ship, traveling at 10 miles per hour, was insured in England for 50,000 pounds.
