Improvement in the Cotton Gin described by William F. Cody of this town who has obtained a patent for rib enhancements in the Saw Gin now widely used in the South. The ribs are claimed to be stronger, uniform, simpler, cheaper, and easier to repair. Cody is arranging manufacture locally and plans sale in New York, per the Norwich Conn Cour.
