Car Down the River In Rio Grande Crash Ends With Escape
Two men Max Suazo Jr and Elmer Romo were in a car that ran off U S 64 into the Rio Grande last Thursday night. Romo was ejected before the vehicle sank while Suazo swam to the river bank. Police recovered Suazo and transported both men to Embudo Hospital for treatment. Charges are pending further investigation by the State Police.
