Rodarte Men Fined Following Fight at Taos Drive-In
A Rodarte man involved in a brawl at the A and W Root Beer Drive-In in Ranchos was fined 50 dollars with 5 dollars costs after altercations with Taos town constable Zack Martinez and driver Elmer LaCome. other Rodarte men Elipeo Gurule Manuel Trujillo and Billy Duran faced charges. Martinez planned assault actions against Duran and Trujillo. Deputy state police later arrested the group as the incident turned violent and a fatal shooting occurred nearby.
