Ranchos band booked for NMI Roswell show
The Gay Floral Serene, a Ranchos de Taos rock band, is booked to perform at New Mexico Military Institute in Roswell on October 27. Adrian Martinez, a Ranchos resident and Institute professor, secured the booking. The four-piece group includes Nick Branches, 15, lead guitarist Mike Hammond, 14, bassist Carlos Romero, 16, and drummer Dale Romero, 45. They have previously played at local high school events under various names.

Taos Pueblo Fiesta Schedule Promises Colorful Weekend
Taos Pueblo hosts a two day Indian celebration on Sept 28 and 30 with a children's and pet parade on Saturday at 2 pm and a fiesta parade on Sunday.
