County to file suit over old Taos courthouse lease
Taos County will sue attorney Elia Romero this week to regain use of the Plaza building. Speed blamed in death of Anthony Velasquez
Excessive speed was a contributing factor in the traffic death of Anthony Velasquez 23 of FBI Valle on Saturday Sept. 12. Velasquez who would have been 24 Wednesday Sept. 24 died at the scene when the 1978 Jeep he was driving swerved out of control on Forest Service Road 207 and overturned, throwing him from the vehicle. The accident occurred between 4 and 5 30 a.m. police reported.
