Judy Romero reports that Taos schools receive a reduced block grant of about 31 000 dollars after a prior 50 000 dollar Title IV sum. The ESAA total drops to zero this year, with funds now state controlled and distributed evenly across districts, triggering concerns for Taos and other low income or inner city districts.
