Jewelry thefts draw Taos police pursuit of drifters
Taos police seek tips as a couple described as drifters allegedly stole belts and earrings from Mesa's Edge stores in Taos and Ranchos. Investigators recovered over $2,000 in jewelry and related items from their vehicle and at least two other local shops were victimized. Montisanti and Gebow, both jailed on multiple felony counts, face ongoing investigations with public assistance requested.
