Taos Center Adds Hands On Physical Therapy Services
Taos Center for Rehabilitation and Sports Medicine reports a near tripling of outpatient clients since last December. First Lou Pond Scholarship recipient named
Valerie Chavez of Questa, 54, named inaugural Lou Pond Scholarship awardee from Holy Cross Hospital Auxiliary. Chavez, a nurse aide and cashier at Holy Cross, begins nursing studies at Northern New Mexico Community College, aims to graduate May 2004 with an Associate in Nursing, and will complete clinicals at Holy Cross and Taos Living Center.

Holy Cross hires new lab director from Oklahoma
Pamela Corr named director of Holy Cross Hospital's laboratory department, bringing 14 years as a lab director at a 250-bed multi-campus facility in Enid and 10 years at a Woodward hospital.
