Lasater Sells Holdings But Denies Angel Fire Sale

Angel Fire Corp. owner Dan Lasater sold two holdings within a week while officials insist the local resort Angel Fire is not for sale. Lasater and Co. was sold to Cordsmith for 15.5 million, and Black Eyed Peas restaurants were sold, though prices were not public. Patsy Thomasson says Angel Fire is not a Lasater holding and the sale coincidence is incidental. The article notes Lasater aims to expand resort ties with New Mexico and pursue state business, including a past MFA buyout proposal that caused Board tensions.
