Taos County pays old debts totaling seventy thousand
Taos County finance officer Mary Lou Chacon reported to commissioners on October 12 that the county owes 71137.74 in bills from 1991 to early 1993. The 1991 item is 769.96 from Friday Motors. 24 bills in 1992 total 16061.60, while the road fund runs 18420.67. Officials say reserves will not be touched and departments will absorb costs.
