Taos Board Adopts Personnel Standards Rules

Taos School Budget Grows As Enrollment Surges
Taos Municipal School officials forecast modest growth but actual enrollment exceeded predictions, boosting state allocations by up to 60 000 to the 5 million budget. Taos suit settled over condemned property payment
A condemnation suit by the Town of Taos was settled last week with John W. Ramming and Carol M. Weicker agreeing to accept 8529 from the town for condemned property. The Sagebrush Inn portion was partially paid, with 2529 already settled. The case involved parcels along Placitas Road, and this marks the third postponement since the July start date. A separate suit against Kit Carson Co-op by Tom J. Manar of Angel Fire was dismissed after the court found proper notice had been given to Manar’s agent, contractor Steve Caldwell.
