Obituary of Samuel Herrera in Albuquerque Taos Services
Samuel Herrera died at 81 in Albuquerque after living with a daughter in Duke City. Survived by a daughter Miss Fella Herrera, two brothers Abel Herrera and Gregorio Herrera, three grandchildren and two great grandchildren. Monsignor C. C. Schoeppner officiated at services yesterday at Guadalupe Parish in Taos. Pallbearers were Ted Martinez, Tacho Martinez, Juan E. Valdez, Louis Carillo, Librado Quintana, and Rutilio Suazo. Garcia Funeral Home handled arrangements.

Animal Shelter Drive Set For November 14
The annual drive to raise funds for the Tags Animal Shelter will occur on November 14. Drive chair Charles D. Brooks and his committee will canvass the area.
