Gonzales to get new trial ordered by appeals court

The Santa Fe District Attorney’s office weighs an appeal after the Court of Appeals ordered a new trial for former state senator Francisco "Comanche" Gonzales. The ruling affirmed the trial judge’s order, with one dissenter, and the DA has 20 days to seek Supreme Court review. Gonzalez’s attorney expressed satisfaction with the decision.
