Hippies Debate Sparks School Council Resolution

Stacy Howell, former Taos Pueblo Day School principal, visited from Albuquerque. The Joseph A. Lucero family from Denver celebrated Mother's Day with J.C. DeAguero family. Lucero passed oral exams toward two master's degrees in social work at the University of Denver, with June completion, and will work for the Department of Health and Social Services in Albuquerque where he has served as a case supervisor.

Taos range management session slated for May 23 24

About 60 members of the American Society of Range Management will attend a two day meeting in Taos May 23 24. Registration at Kachina Lodge starts 8 9 30 a.m. The group will tour range projects in the Red River area and Tres Piedras to study fencing rain traps pinon juniper sagebrush control and down fences for seasonal livestock movement. Cost is 9 per person.

Four UNM students win junior traineeships for next year

Connie G. Ashmun daughter of Dr. David R. Ashmun El Prado is among four University of New Mexico students in teaching programs for mentally retarded children chosen for junior traineeships. The award is $300 funded under Public Law tgs. Mr and Mrs Benton Bond announce the birth of twin daughters Tara Marie and Georgina Marie at St. Vincent Hospital Santa Fe April 26.
