Taos County commissioners voted 3 2 to remove Julia Valerio as county manager effective May 11 and place Sammy Pacheco as interim manager. Valerio will remain indigent fund director for 45 days while Pacheco signs a one year contract and assumes dual duties as manager and attorney.
