Two men jump to death from Rio Grande Gorge Bridge

Two men died by apparent suicide on the same day at the Rio Grande Gorge Bridge. Taos Fire Department and State Police recovered the bodies, first of Michael Spinks of Bernalillo and later Steven Sauer of San Cristobal, within hours of the midday jump. The deaths are considered unrelated.

Rafters Find Naia Body in Rio Grande Gorge

Naia, formerly Ava Lauren Sandrock of Santa Fe, is identified by the Medical Investigator after a rafting group found her body in the Rio Grande Gorge three miles south of the U S 64 bridge. The death is listed as blunt force trauma following a February disappearance.

Taos Bridge to Nowhere deaths prompt push for action
