Taos Kiwanis heard John Gott director of school finance J T Reese director of bus transportation and Frank Lopez assistant director of school finance discuss current and future school funding. Gott noted about 80 million dollars now spent with sales tax as primary revenue and urged attendance at budget hearings May 16. Obituary notes 37 year old former Taoseno Jaco Cordoba died Sunday from injuries in an automobile crash. Survived by Fidel Cordoba of Northern New Mexico Abstract & Title Co and brother Tony in Minneapolis, sister Mrs Alice C Martinez of Santa Fe. Cordoba served in U S Air Force during World War I with Pacific Theater duty as a flight officer on a B17. Funeral arrangements incomplete at this writing.
