Roadblock nets two area men
Two Questa men, Lupito Vigil aged 19 and Roger Barela aged 30, were charged with marijuana possession after a routine State Police roadblock stopped them at 3:30 p.m. on March 9 south of Taos. They had about 17 ounces and were released on $250 cash bonds after arraignment before Magistrate J.F. Romero. Officer P.J. Martinez said they face counts of possession of more than eight ounces.
