Romo pleads no contest to murder in Trujillo case

Romo, 17, pleaded no contest to first degree murder in the June 6 2003 slaying of 19 year old Alberto Trujillo of Talpa in Santa Fe. Sentencing will be set after diagnostic exams. DA Donald Gallegos seeks maximum term with support from his team and State Police.

Three charged in Taos car fire murder case

Taos grand jury indicted Michelle Martinez 23 of Questa Steve Tollardo 30 and Luis Trujillo 32 of Taos for murder and related offenses in the death of Juan Alcantar. Martinez faces murder conspiracy and tampering charges while Tollardo and Trujillo are charged with kidnapping accessory aggravated arson and related conspiracies. All remain jailed on other charges.

Water beneath Molycorp rock slide alarms Questa

Water rising under the Goat Hill North rock pile at Molycorp Molybdenum Mine triggered a warning system amid fears a rain or melt could drive the 75 foot thick slide into Red River Canyon.
