DA to reexamine case of neglected Carson Estates dog Annie
A March 6 meeting with District Attorney Donald Gallegos and witnesses spurred a review of the Annie case. The white great Pyrenees was found paralyzed under a Carson Estates trailer in January 2005 after owner David Lewis left the dog with a neighbor. County citation for cruelty exists, but DA previously declined state charges. a March 14 hearing looms as the district attorney reconsiders prosecution based on new witness input.
