Chavez Withdraws Nomination For Albuquerque Independent Review Officer
Martin Chavez pulled his May 36 nomination of Morrison to be Independent Review Officer for Albuquerque after controversy and questions about Morrison's relation to the mayor. Morrison said he would replace Ann Steinmetz and noted his 12 year acquaintance with Chavez. He plans to remain Taos County manager until a new job or contract end.
