Pot Mountain Fire Forces Retreat As Winds Shift

OMI changes cause of death for inmate Gonzales

District Attorney John Paternoster says the Office of the Medical Investigator reclassified Joaquin Gonzales death from natural causes to undetermined after learning a jail guard hog-tied him during a 911 call. The 42 year old epileptic died in Taos County Detention Center on Nov 20. The DA notes the new finding aligns with evidence from a criminal investigation and may lead to charges against Trujillo.
