Cyndi Howell founder of Love Thy Neighbor Food Pantry
Cyndi Howell, 60, founded the Love Thy Neighbor Food Pantry in a 4 by 6 foot closet at Questa Baptist Church after feeding a struggling shopper. From 2000 it served about 200 families in Northern Taos County before closing in 2013 for funding and health reasons. She died May 17 after a long fibromyalgia battle, leaving a legacy of charity and community service.
