Incumbents Hold In Taos County Statehouse Races
In Taos County incumbent Carlos Cisneros won the Senate District 6 seat, defeating former senator C B Trujillo who conceded early Tuesday. Cisneros, 44, carried 57 percent of the total 7,865 votes statewide while Trujillo had 3,217. Cisneros attributed his win to his voting record and door to door campaigning. Trujillo will not seek another term, calling the race his last hurrah.
