Taos County manager leads key search after jail break
Taos County manager Agnes Cardenas-Oakeley rushed to the Taos County Juvenile Detention Center after three teens escaped on May 27. A locksmith was hired to change the main door lock while deputies searched for the stolen keys until 1 a.m. Sunday. the keys were later found on a fence post near the jail. By Sunday afternoon two inmates were recaptured. one remained at large as authorities kept the facility secure.

Taos officer claims defamation and malicious prosecution
