Water thief busted in Taos arrest and probation
A 40 year old Taos man Arthur N. Santistevan was arrested on a warrant for illegal water hookup. Lt. Silviano Archuleta arrested him on July 12. He was fined $300 and sentenced to 30 days, suspended, with six months probation. The illegal hookup was discovered by Claude Esquibel of the town water department. It is unclear how long or how much water was used.
