Devoted Taos woman Adonelia Sanchez dies at 85
Adonelia Vigil Sanchez a longtime Taos resident known for cooking and care for family and neighbors died June 30 at age 85. She helped raise lambs as a girl and later many grandchildren, supported the Taos Arc and was a long time Our Lady of Guadalupe Church parishioner. Her rosary was July 3 and Mass July 4 with interment at Sierra Vista Cemetery.
