Fires burn across Taos County during July Fourth spree

Plague cases rise with four new Bubonic cases
Four new human bubonic plague cases were reported in New Mexico, including a 36 year old woman from McKinley County and a 3 year old boy with his 30 year old father from Oklahoma. Taos Search Team trains after fatal gorge fall
On February 28 Otis Lujan 20 of Taos Pueblo fell about 125 feet from the Rio Pueblo gorge south of Taos during a campfire incident. Taos Search and Rescue members returned for a rope training session led by Todd Phillips with Julia Tye and Tammy Barnes. A July fund drive seeks 25,000 to buy equipment and fund ongoing training.

Bomb removed from Taos County home in Seco case
