UNM Taos celebrates solar energy milestone
UNM Taos marked its plan for full solar powering with tours prizes and hot air balloon rides over the Klauer Campus site. Kit Carson Electric Cooperative CEO Luis Reyes said the array, costing 2.5 million of a 5 million federal bond, aims to energize around August 1 and feed excess power into the cooperative grid.
