Hipolito Cordova of San Cristobal died in Taos December 24 from injuries in an automobile crash. Funeral services were led by Father Rafael Herrera in San Cristobal December 28 with Garcia Funeral Home handling arrangements. He is survived by his parents, three brothers Teodoro Cristobal and Gilbert all of San Cristobal, and six sisters Isabel Lujan Green River Wyoming Griepeona Mascarenez Rio Lucio and Eva Lopez Vadito. Rosary was held December 26 and 27 at 8 p.m.

Funeral services were held Sunday afternoon at St. Anthony's Church in Penasco for Eloisa P Sanchez 46 wife of Saturnin Sanchez of Penasco and Minturn Colo burial followed in the local cemetery. She died in Presbyterian Hospital Denver after two weeks of treatment her remains returned to Taos by Hanler Funeral Home. Surviving besides her husband are four children Rosie 18 Nancy 16 Franklin 14 Eddie 7 her mother Mrs Rosarita Pacheco seven sisters and three brothers all listed with ties to Penasco and surrounding areas.
