Dynamite Planned in River Search for Flores Body
State Police and local officials resumed the Flores search after favorable weather with a shallow river. Tenative blasting with over 100 sticks of dynamite was planned to free a possible body lodged among rocks. A missing person bulletin had been issued amid rumors of Flores’ whereabouts.

Taos County must decide whether to use new reappraisal values for 1968 tax rolls or continue with equalization figures. Gov Cargo urged use of equalization figures, while an Attorney General opinion delays full reappraisal until following completion.
