Taos man Jose Eugenio Medina dies at 76
Funeral services were held for Jose Eugenio Medina of Taos who died January 22 at Holy Cross Hospital. Medina, a Taos resident and businessman, is survived by his wife Cassandra and three sons Joe, Eugene, and Benjamin, a daughter Mary, a brother Juanito, and 13 grandchildren. Costilea Ranch Break-Ins Trace to Juveniles
The Costilea ranch experienced three break-ins in January and December, totaling about 2000 in stolen goods. About 700 in items were recovered by Rodriguez's office, including rifles, record players, field glasses, jewelry, clothing, and household goods. Investigators spent 251 hours on the case, leading to two juveniles being remanded to a probation officer and released to parents pending a mid February juvenile court hearing.
