Gala New Year Revels At Sagebrush Inn And Local Clubs

Taos area ski season drifts on with rising artificial snow

Taos area ski conditions deteriorate as warm days persist and crowds wait for a weather break. Red Diver reports the region’s only man made snow on challenging trails, with a two mile upper intermediate run improving daily. Man made snow also available at Red River Powder Puff and Angel Fire Village. Taos Ski Valley and Sipapu forecast possible closures if snow fails to fall. Lloyd Bolander vows to hold out at Sipapu until Sunday.
