Romero in Army Training Exercise near Ulm Germany
Army Sergeant First Class Joe T. Romero 27 son of Trinidad Romero Ranchos of Taos took part with Fourth Armored Division 51st Infantry in an eight day field training near Ulm Germany. Exercise trains infantry operations with armor support keeping the division ready as a NATO defense element. Romero entered service January 1951 arrived overseas November 1957 and attended Taos High School. His wife Ingeborg accompanied him in Germany.

Investiture ceremony names eight clergy in Santa Fe
