In Santa Fe District Judge Samuel Mon toya dismissed a 12300 dollar damage suit and a 10000 dollar countersuit arising from an alleged Taos bar altercation on September 15, 1962. Elizard Romero and wife sued Epimenia Valerio for injuries. Valerio counterclaimed that Mrs. Romero struck him.

Girl Struck Crossing Street Near Hennie's Grocery

Debra Gonzales seven, escaped with a minor head bump after colliding with Manuel Garcia’s car while crossing Ranchitos Road near Hennie’s Grocery on Wednesday evening November 25. Hanlon’s Ambulance took her to Holy Cross Hospital for examination and release. Town Patrolman Walter M. investigated.

Debra Fatally Struck as Garcia Vehicle Hits Pedestrian

Romaro, who investigated the incident, said Debra became confused by traffic while crossing and fell after being struck by the Garcia vehicle. No charges were filed.
