Fitz Named Nursing Director at Holy Cross Hospital
Sandra Fitz R.N. has been appointed director of nursing at Holy Cross Hospital. She joined as a staff nurse in 1973, served as assistant director from 1974 to 1976, and was acting director from September. Fitz is revising the staff policies and aims to elevate care quality and staff development. A native of Klamath Falls Cre, she trained at St. Lukes School of Nursing in San Francisco and holds a clinical associate degree from the University of New Mexico. She resides in Des Montes with husband Dr. Jerry Fitz and their son.

Beaded items stolen from El Rincon Shop on Kit Carson Road
Beaded articles valued over 200 dollars were stolen from El Rincon Shop on Kit Carson Road during the night Tuesday November 22. Owner Rowena Martinez said thieves broke a pane of glass in a show window and took two beaded buckles including one with an American Eagle design and another in green yellow and orange.
