Escape from Taos County Jail sparks manhunt
Prisoner Elias Archuleta, 43, of Denver, escaped from a maximum security cell at Taos County Jail around Aug 8 with help from an accomplice who removed a glass window and cut bars. Archuleta, 5 6 and 140 pounds with a snail mustache, is armed and dangerous, wanted for armed robbery in Lakewood Colorado. He previously fled July 1 after police recovered his possession. He owned a car, two British buses and several mopeds in Taos. He is the first inmate to escape Taos County Jail this year.
