Salazar Road project to begin with new funds and work
Northern Mountain Constructors will start the Salazar Road improvement project with a $1.87 million plan funded up to $1.56 million by the state highway department. The town match is $437,000 and work could require a temporary road shutdown to save time and money. The project runs from the Salazar Road Paseo del Cafion intersection to Salazar Road Ranchitos Road with two 12 foot lanes, shoulders, curb and gutter, and sidewalks on the east side between La Posta and Ranchitos Road.
