Taos court to hear petition in sexual contact case

Police respond to more calls in Taos in 1982 rise
Taos police records show a 62 percent increase in calls for January through April of 1982 versus 1981. Most rises involve minor incidents like burglar alarms and fender benders, with thefts and burglaries up 28 cases and auto thefts four more. Vandalisms fell 11 cases in the first quarter.
