Taos teenager Jason Vigil faces 52 counts including computer abuse theft and fraudulent use of credit cards. The 16 or 17 year old alleged to have scammed 24 victims across 15 states plus New Zealand using eBay with losses over 4000 dollars. Court appearance set for April 28 was waived by his attorney.
The Trust for Public Land sold 6,400 acres of Top O World Farm to the BLM in mid April, adding to the eastern half bought last year. The 14,344 acre Ute Mountain property now borders the Rio Grande Wild and Scenic River Corridor, expanding public access and habitat protection.
