Cub Scouts Have Skits At Final Pack Meeting
The Cub Scouts held their last pack meeting of the school year on Tuesday April 16 at 7 p.m. under the theme Up Above and Underneath Den 4 led by Mrs Dail Bachtel performed a clever opening skit while Rex Kirkham a 1st Class Scout from Troop 191 was introduced. Den 7 won the attendance flap for most parents present and several dens presented skits and drawings. A May 45 picnic at Kit Carson Park was announced with a 3 p.m. arrival for a nature trail and 5 p.m. picnic start followed by campfire awards.

New Massey Ferguson dealer named for Taos area
A. F. Vigil of Ranchos de Taos is named Massey Ferguson tractor dealer for Taos and nearby counties. Vigil, a lifelong Ranchos de Taos resident, follows a family of local ranching roots.
