Beloved Taos musician Pablo Trujillo leaves legacy
Pablo Augustine Trujillo 81 died Saturday April 19 leaving a rich legacy in musica antigua. Born into a Taos colonial family he worked as a wood hauler and learned guitar from Doncito Martinez and others. A versatile performer he helped form Los Alegres de Taos and recordings are preserved in Santa Fe archives.

Taos Junior High Drill Team Wins Big at State Dance Fest
The Taos Junior High School Drill team captured first place in grade A and Best of Show at the state Dance Festival in The Pit at UNM on April 19. Study says Carson lacking in bird habitat
