Taos Wins EPA Grant for Sewage Plant Expansion
The Environmental Protection Agency approves a 1.6 million grant to expand Taos sewage treatment, nearly doubling capacity and replacing over two miles of old lines. The 2.1 million project will be funded by the EPA grant, about 300 thousand from a local town bond, and a similar amount from the state.
