Taos Plans Earth Week Activities April 19 24
Taos hosts a full Earth Week from April 19 to 24 with recycling drives field trips tree plantings and clean up projects led by TEIC and local groups. Students teachers and citizens are invited to join events including a Kiwanis Clean-up Day April 24 and a Forest Service tree giveaway April 19 at the Taos Environmental Information Center with demonstrations debates and nature studies in the mountains and town.

The article details Floyd W. Beutler related changes to a building then housing a 398 seat theater, a lobby, shop, general store and a doctor's office.
