Two plead guilty to cocaine charges in Taos drug raid

Youth dies in rock slide at Rio Grande State Park
PILAR Emmery Gurule a 13 year old from Espalona was killed Easter Sunday when rocks fell during a family hike on the east canyon slope. State Police said several boulders loosened as the group climbed, crushing Gurule and injuring others. The body was carried 300 feet down the slope and pronounced dead on arrival.

Ernest Salazar, 10, of Taos, jailed on $10,000 cash bond for burglaries at Celestino Romero and Serapio Duran homes.
