Double Charge Leads to Fines in Taos DUI Case
Taosman was fined 120 dollars for driving while intoxicated and without a license. Justice of the Peace C. F. Boyer also fined 18 year old Guillermo Voit 100 dollars plus court costs of 7.50 for DUI and 7.50 for the license violation. Voit, arrested March 28 by Taos police Pete Duran and Joe Montoya, paid the fine April 7 and was released from county jail.

Infant Brid get Suazo died the day she was born at Embudo Presbyterian Hospital. Funeral mass was at Our Lady of Sorrows Church Pilar with Fr. Arthur Tafoya presiding. Burial followed at Pilar Cemetery. Pallbearers were Jerome, Adolfo, Anthony, and Patrick Suazo. Survived by three brothers, a sister, and grandparents. Arrangements by Garcia Funeral Home.
