Mrs. Frank Boswell entertained the Tuesday Bridge Club at her home. The host received the high score award after several progressions. Participants included Mrs Harrelson Mrs Bell Jr Mrs Prince Mrs Nesmith III Mrs Huxhe J M McGougan and Mrs Brown.
Mrs. R T Bruton was honored at the Esther Session of the Grand Chapter of North Carolina Order of the Eastern Star held at Greensboro Gospel Tabernacle. She led the grave processional after being elected by Worthy Grand Matron Edna C Moag of Greensboro. Bruton previously served as Esther in the twat Chapter and now serves as Elect. E W Fonvielle is Worthy Matron of Tabor City Chapter with Doc Bruton as Sentinel.
The Tabor City Chapter of Eastern Star met at the lodge hall for a regular meeting Monday evening at 8 30 with Worthy Matron Mr EF W Fonvielle presiding. Special guest Mrs S S Harreson Conductress of the Lombard 11 chapter was recognized.
