Mrs. Fannie Loupitt Spivey 86 of the Iron Hill community died in McLeod's Infirmary Flor ence following a major operation. She was a Dillon County native and longtime Bear Swamp Iron Hill Baptist church member known as Aunt Fannie. Funeral services were held at Iron Hill Baptist Church with interment in Spivey cemetery. Pallbearers included W H Shelley Jr Elbert Shelley Edwin Wright Lynwood Wright Bobby Wright and Harry Hardeen. She is survived by two sons two daughters a sister and a large circle of grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Town Board Warns Air Rifle Owners To Use Caution

Clemons Rites Held At Green Sea Baptist Church
John Lewis Clemons died at home at age 74 after years of ill health. Funeral services were held Friday at Green Sea Baptist Church with Rev. Morgan Gilreath officiating. Burial was in Green Sea Cemetery. He was son of the late John Wesley Clemons and Eleanor Mills Clemons. He married Sara Ella Gore who died in 1937 and he later wed Dora Rowell Blanton.
